The past year the refurbishment of I&C Systems started at the Paks Nuclear Power Plant. The first subsystem examined was the reactor pressure control system (RPC). Our laboratory analysed the old RPC and made the identification of the system. Based on the results of the identification, a design for the new control architecture and network topology has been made. At present, the reactor pressure control system developed by our group functions on 3 of the reactor’s units.
