Machine perception algorithms for self-driving vehicles

The aim of the project was to improve self-driving road freight transport, in particular environmental perception. The project involved the processing of data from environmental sensors mounted on trucks by the Machine Perception Research Laboratory:

  • Region-level classification
  • Object Detection
  • Object Recognition
  • Object tracking and free space detection
  • Geometry-based Orientation and Localization

tasks in highway and site conditions and related software development.
