The primary aim of the WIDENET project is to connect, co-ordinate, extend and improve the activities in the member countries towards the application of health standards with the main focus on electronic health records. Project partners carry out some of the work in their own countries. Concertation, cooperation and mutual information exchange provide help to the other partners in solving similar problems. Our goal is to facilitate the application of euroconform healthcare IT systems in Hungary. Based on coordinated efforts with other project partners we prepare joint proposals to support European patient mobility. This includes (among others) the contribution to create a multilingual patient dictionary, in order to unify the communication of phrases in healthcare.
