Time Mirror

The Time Mirror is an interactive audio-visual product of art, that presents its visitors an entirely new visual projection of themselves. From the frames of a video camera that is targeted to the viewer, we – in real time, using a computer – take vertical slices and put these slices next to each other, achieving an image that is constantly growing, incorporates reality, but visualizes temporal processes that are otherwise invisible. It makes the viewers its subject, but unlike a mirror it inspires them to use their creativity, so they will become not only its subjects, but its creators as well.
