eSCM

The main objective of the ESCM project is to develop an internet-based education/training platform in the field of supply chain management (SCM) designed for new work situations in the context of lifelong learning. The sectors targeted by the project are universities and SMEs with interests in the supply chain field or related paradigms. The project addresses the needs of young engineers close to embarking on working life or industrial employees whose qualifications need updating. Therefore the main categories of potential users, direct beneficiary of the project results are industrial employees, students and teachers at technical universities.

The consortium comprises 10 partners (5 active, respectively 5 so-called passive partners) from 4 countries. The passive partners are 5 small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) which will contribute to the, hopefully, successful carrying out of the project work.
