Healthcare represents one of the most challenging tasks in our societies. There are many parties involved in the execution of various tasks within and around the healthcare service delivery, however, none of these functions could be realized without proper IT support. In order to be able to meet the requirements of the Information Society a number of development projects have started in the field of Medical Informatics in Hungary. Many of these initiatives have resulted in working pilots as well as regionally operating systems. In this application we present relevant samples that offer solutions to certain aspects of modern healthcare services. The samples are all working, self-standing solutions. However, the main emphasis is on the interrelation and cooperation of these components, and the benefits of these applications are explained in the attached animated documents.
