Invitation: Special issue of Production & Manufacturing Research seeking article submissions

The upcoming special issue of the Q2-ranked journal titled “Humans and Robots in Factories of the Future” is accepting article submissions until 31 December 2026. Two members of the board of guest advisors are senior researchers of HUN-REN SZTAKI’s Research Laboratory on Engineering and Management Intelligence.

Deputy head of EMI laboratory and advisor of the director general József Váncza, and senior research fellow Zsolt Kemény are both members of the board. The invitation is mainly open for articles focusing on human–robot collaboration, human–machine production systems, optimization, issues around human-centric robotics (such as safety and ergonomics), as well as practical uses of machine perception and artificial intelligence in the context of socio-cyber-physical production systems.
