PROACTIF

Global turmoil, terrorism and hybrid war has made cost-effective and energy-efficient surveillance of the critical infrastructure extremely important for public safety and critical functions. PROACTIF tackles the challenge by developing unmanned vehicles (UxVs) based surveillance technologies that enable frequent, affordable, safe, and efficient approach for gaining comprehensive situational awareness on critical infrastructures and incidents. In addition, PROACTIF will develop UxV based novel solutions for cost-efficient emergency management and first response capable for fast decision-making on site. The project will enhance European technological capabilities for the security of critical infrastructures and emergency response. Engagement of both public and private sector in collaboration to develop and invest in the critical technologies, PROACTIF’s key objective is to ensure their availability in Europe. To show the new capabilities, PROACTIF will deliver demonstrations for emergency site, wildfire management, search and rescue, crowd monitoring, as well as security surveillance for offshore, seaports, rail yards and energy substations.
