Dr. Nádai was graduated as a computer engineer, got his PhD in control engineering, and in the past 20 years he was doing research in the field of intelligent transportation systems. He has been involved in several research projects co-funded by the European Union in various roles, he has proposal writing, project management, leadership, strategic and policy formulation competencies. Ten years ago, he was a visiting professor at UC Berkeley and has visited the institution regularly since then. He also has notable management experience, having served as Vice-Chancellor for Strategic Development and Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Óbuda University. Formerly, he worked at the Ministry of Human Capacities as a Chief Policy Advisor and had a major impact on shaping the strategic development plan of Hungarian higher education for the forthcoming 15 years.
