Benedek Szanyó obtained his BSc degree in Computer Science Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in the winter of 2025. He is currently pursuing an MSc in the same field, specializing in software development.
In the summer of 2024, he completed a professional internship at SZTAKI, working on the parallelization and scaling of autonomous vehicle control. As a continuation of this work, he has been employed part-time at the institute since February 2025.
His research focuses on efficient deep reinforcement learning (DRL)-based autonomous vehicle control in large-scale transportation network models.
