Balázs Varga, PhD

Balázs Varga received his M.Sc. degree in vehicle engineering in 2015, and Ph.D. degree in traffic engineering in 2021 from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He was a postdoctoral researcher at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg Sweden in 2021.
His research interests include the modeling and control of urban traffic networks with both classical and data-driven solutions. He has also contributed to co-simulation, mixed-reality and digital twin solutions related to traffic and intelligent vehicles.
