Ádám Szabó is a vehicle engineer and researcher at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) and the Institute for Computer Science and Control (SZTAKI). He completed his studies at the BME Faculty of Transportation Engineering and Vehicle Engineering, later earning his PhD from the Kandó Kálmán Doctoral School.

He established his professional foundation as a software developer at Knorr-Bremse Brake Systems Ltd. between 2016 and 2022. Since 2017, he has been a member of the teaching staff at the BME Department of Control for Transportation and Vehicles, and since 2025, he has served as a researcher at the SZTAKI Systems and Control Laboratory.

His research focuses on the implementation and real-world testing of control algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
