Hitachi and HUN-REN SZTAKI are continuing their successful collaboration

Hitachi Ltd. and the HUN-REN SZTAKI Research Laboratory on Engineering & Management Intelligence are currently engaging in another joint research project, actively focusing on the application of Generative Artificial Intelligence technologies in production environments. The teams are working on optimizing the design and configuration parameters of production lines by integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) being used to generate adaptive solution strategies in response to dynamic production demands, together with factory-specific configuration software utilized for the actual validation of the generated solutions.

Together, they are shaping a methodology and developing supporting automation software aimed at expanding and refining the generative capabilities of general-purpose LLMs.

Throughout the past one-year initiative, delegations from Hitachi Ltd. have been regularly visiting HUN-REN SZTAKI to engage in joint activities, participate in events such as the institute's 60th anniversary, and explore its leading-edge research environments, including the Innovation and Demonstration Space.

This continuous collaboration is reaffirming the strong, 18-year-long relationship of mutual esteem and cooperation between these two excellences in industry and research, a partnership that is actively growing through each new project.
