13th International Conference on Computer Vision (Barcelona, 2011.)

Members of the Geometric Modelling and Computer Vision Laboratory took part in the most prestigious conference of the computer vision research community, the 13th International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV) held in Barcelona during the sunny November of 2011. The SZTAKI team demonstrated for the very first time that the core of 3D reconstruction, the Structure from Motion algorithm can be executed using GPU with such efficiency that, assuming weak perspective camera model, point clouds consisting of hundreds of points can be computed in 3D space in real-time.
