Students from NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) visited HUN-REN SZTAKI

Students from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) visited the HUN-REN Institute for Computer Science and Control (SZTAKI) for a professional study trip. The group was led by Prof. Trond Aalberg, Head of the Department of Computer Science at NTNU.

During the visit, the students received a comprehensive overview of the institute’s research and development activities. They attended several demonstrations showcasing work in the fields of autonomous systems, robotics, and smart factories, the latter presented in Norwegian. The aim of the demonstrations was to illustrate the latest technological solutions and application possibilities through practical examples.

As part of the program, the institute’s Department of Distributed Systems (SZTAKI DSD) also introduced its work, highlighting the challenges and importance of research data management as a current topic. The students were given insight into a knowledge-graph-based research support environment developed in the field of cultural heritage.
