Our goal is to investigate and demonstrate incremental sheet forming (ISF), which is suitable for rapid prototype production, along with related new machining techniques. Primarily, we aim to conduct a critical analysis of the polymer machining process we proposed that involves heat treatment and its supervision, as well as the measurement technology of the ISF technique. Additionally, the multi-level networking of the open EMC architecture used to control our machines is also part of the project.
