Unlike conventional brightfield microscopes, digital holographic microscopes can capture objects from an entire transparent volume. Therefore, they can monitor even 300 times larger sample volume by taking a single snapshot. At HUN-REN SZTAKI, we have developed three different digital holographic microscope models:
- HiRES: Algae monitoring
- Typical object size: 3-75 μm
- Holographic resolution: 0,6 μm
- Measurement speed: 3,6-18 μl/min
- Sample depth: 200 μm
- HiRES+Fluor: Algae monitoring with fluorescent extension
- Typical object size: 3-75 μm
- Holographic resolution: 0,6 μm
- Measurement speed: 3,6-18 μl/min
- Sample depth: 200 μm
- Fluorescent detection accuracy: 4 μm
- Excitation wavelength: 445-480nm (changeable)
- Emission wavelength: >500nm (changeable)
- LVol: Drinking water monitoring
- Typical object size: 15-300 μm
- Holographic resolution: 2 μm
- Measurement speed: 15-50 μl/min
- Sample depth: 10mm
The holographic microscope can perform automatic operation. Using flow-through chamber, it can automatically capture holograms, detect and classify them using deep learning AI. The built in classification module can be easily retrained.
