Kick-off meeting of the RobustPlaNet R&D project
The Research Laboratory on Engineering & Management Intelligence as the coordinator of the project hosted the kick-off meeting of the RobustPlaNet project.
RobustPlaNet aims at developing technology-based business approaches that will change the current, rigid supply chain mechanisms and the current product-based business models into collaborative and robust production networks able to timely deliver innovative product services in very dynamic and unpredictable global environments. RobustPlaNet will last for three years and will receive 3.5 million Euros funding from the European Commission. The project is coordinated by the host institute of our laboratory, SZTAKI and involves eleven partners, including four research and seven industry consortium members all of them leading European enterprises in automotive and production equipment building industries.
