ARP opening

On 25th November 2024 the official launch event of the HUN-REN Data Repository Platform, Our Data Gate is Open, was held as a hybrid event, in HUN-REN Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics and online.

The half-day event featured presentations by HUN-REN leaders and ARP creators on the importance of the project, the potential of the Data Repository Platform and related services. The presentations were followed by a round table discussion with representatives of domestic research institutions analyzing the situation of research data management in Hungary, and ARP Ambassadors reported on their experiences with the Data Repository and the reception of the services by fellow researchers. Finally, the new HUN-REN Data Steward Network was also introduced.
