GOBLIN EU project launch with HUN-REN SZTAKI DSD
GOBLIN (Global Network on Large-Scale, Cross-domain and Multilingual Open Knowledge Graphs) EU COST Action, starting in the fall of 2024, aims at advancing open-access knowledge quality and quantity all over Europe and beyond. To reach this goal, good quality, scalable, multilingual and preferably free-of-charge knowledge graph technology is needed. GOBLIN will support the research and development in this field to create such technology.
GOBLIN project kick-off meeting was held on October 15 in Brussels, where discussions focused on the work package plans, and the current research issues.
Participating in the project, HUN-REN SZTAKI Department of Distributed Systems (DSD), based on its previous research and experience on linked data and knowledge graphs, is dealing with the processes of creating and maintaining knowledge graphs, and building knowledge graph based systems.
