Successful Researcher's Night at HUN-REN SZTAKI

The Institute welcomed visitors with more than ten programmes, including a robot dog demonstration, self-flying drones and the 50th anniversary of the microprocessor revolution.

Starting at 14:00 and running until 21:45, the programmes filled the afternoon and evening, from puzzle games, to self-guiding drones and self-propelled mapping vehicles, to industrial but collaborative robots to try out, and the demonstration of Spot the robot dog, which could be stroked and commanded by voice to perform tricks.

The hardware history exhibition at HUN-REN SZTAKI also included a guided tour: development engineer László Kún gave a presentation on the revolution of the microprocessor, invented 50 years ago this year, without which modern IT would be unthinkable.

The photos of the event are available in a gallery on the Institute's official Facebook page. Below you can watch the video of the event. See you next year!
