Árpád Fehér, PhD
Árpád Fehér completed his higher education at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). He received his BSc in Vehicle Engineering with a specialization in Vehicle Mechatronics in 2014, followed by an MSc in Vehicle Automation in 2018. He earned his PhD in 2023, focusing his research on the machine learning-based design of decision-making models for autonomous vehicles.
Currently, he is a Research Fellow at the Department of Automotive Technologies at BME and at HUN-REN SZTAKI. Additionally, he serves as the Tech Lead for the engineering team developing the research group’s highly automated Lexus test vehicle. His professional work primarily focuses on integrating machine learning algorithms into vehicle control systems and validating these solutions in real-world testing environments.
