What is Data Avenue?

Data Avenue is a storage management service that allows you to access different types of storage resources (including S3, sftp, GridFTP, iRODS, SRM servers) using a single interface. Available REST APIs allow all typical storage operations, such as creating/deleting  folders/buckets, renaming or deleting files/folders, uploading/downloading files, copying or moving files/folders between different storage resources, or simply using "curl" the command from the command line. DataAvenue automatically translates users' REST commands into appropriate storage protocols and manages long-term data transfer in the background.
