Successful BATTwin project consortium meeting at HUN-REN SZTAKI

Members of the CINEA supported BATTwin project consortium have met for the third time, now in HUN-REN SZTAKI, Budapest on November 7-8th, 2024. As the project is approaching its twelfth months, the partners were talking about the progress carried out since the last live meeting in May, challenges experienced during the active work packages, brainstorming on solutions and discussing upcoming tasks.

During the meeting the consortium partners had the possibility to visit the laboratories of the Department of Engineering and Management Intelligence of HUN-REN SZTAKI to observe demonstrations of research on various topics e.g. automated PCB inspection, robotic portrait drawing utilizing AI-based image processing and optimized path planning., autonomous robotic part feeding with online path and sequence planning, kinematic robot digital twin building and offline robot programming support, demonstrated on robotic laser welding use-case.
