SZTAKI joined EGI

Goal of the EGI Federation is to ship open and advanced solutions in the fields of computing and data analysis for international research and innovation. To achieve this, the Federation combines the infrastructure, services and proficiency of its members, covering as many fields as possible, while also supporting cooperation abroad.

EGI expended with 26 new members, including the only Hungarian partner, SZTAKI. Aside the professional support, SZTAKI brings the Wigner Research Centre for Physics co-lead ELKH Cloud into the cooperation. By this support, SZTAKI also joins the work of the European Open Science Cloud (ESOC), supporting Open Science solutions.
