Succesful simulation project at Avenctics Hungary Ltd.

Our laboratory has a long-term and fruitful partnership with the Aventics (former Bosch Rexroth) company. The factory, located in Eger (Hungary), produces pneumatic components and systems. Within the partnership our laboratory provides support to the introduction and application of advanced decision making tools in the manufacturing and logistics areas of the company.
The most recent project with Aventics was centered on analyzing the effects of the LEAN-based reconfiguration of manufacturing processes. The analysis modeled and evaluated the material flow of the manufacturing processes and identified the key influencing parameters affecting the throughput by using the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation production simulation software. In addition to the main goals of the project, the objective was also to support the introduction and integration of the simulation software into the decision making flow of the customer. The project succeeded in this aspect as well by successfully transferring the required simulation modeling specific knowledge to the customer.
